MSU Meteorology Professor Michael Brown demonstrates the installation of temperature sensors at Davis Wade Stadium to graduate students Andrew Collins, Megan Spade and Mandy Raborn. The sensors are part of a research collaboration between MSU Athletics and the Department of Geosciences. Data from the sensors will be used to improve gameday operations and better anticipate the needs of staff, athletes and fans. With high temperatures expected for Saturday's [Sept. 3] season opener against South Alabama, MSU has announced heat initiatives to ensure the safety and well-being of all fans.
