Shawna Williams, a senior art major from Hattiesburg, works on a mural on the back wall of the Dawg House stage in MSU's Colvard Student Union. The mural, which features Mississippi music with an emphasis on Black Prairie blues, is part of a larger remodeling of the Dawg House. The revamped space, which is currently used for a wide variety of events and as a lounge space, will be unveiled this fall.
