Anthony Kirkland, an assistant professor in MSU's Department of Music, accompanies the Starkville-MSU Symphony Orchestra during its season-opening concert Saturday [Sept. 9] at Lee Hall. The free concert was made possible by the Starkville-MSU Symphony Association, a nonprofit volunteer organization whose members work to educate, enlighten and share classical music with the city, university and other communities in the Golden Triangle region.
