Jess Walter, the current MSU College of Arts & Sciences writer-in-residence, speaks to students in Associate Professor Michael Kardos' advanced fiction class in the unviersity's Old Main Academic Center. A National Book Award finalist and winner of the Edgar Allan Poe Award, Walter is the author of six novels, one book of short stories and one nonfiction book. Walter will give a public reading at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday [Feb. 22] in the Taylor Auditorium of McCool Hall. The event is free and open to the public.
