Mississippi State senior Karen Hall, an anthropology major from Newton County, leads a mock archaeological dig as part of LeaderSTATE, a residential high school leadership and STEM camp for JROTC cadets from Mississippi, Alabama and Louisiana. Funded by the United States Army, LeaderSTATE is part of a collaborative partnership between JROTC educators, MSU's Department of Geosciences and the Office of Student Leadership and Community Engagement.
