Participants in MSU's BATMEN Academy, from left, Stephens Ball, Jay Anthony and Kaplan Adcox, build model bridges, providing a glimpse into the career of civil engineers. Part of the Bagley College of Engineering's summer academies, the camp helps students in grades 7-9 learn about the different fields of engineering and work on a variety of hands-on projects, while also getting a preview of university life on campus.
