Deja Nichols, a sophomore secondary education major from Laurel, bungee jumps during a Dawgs After Dark event Sept. 13 on the lawn near Old Main Academic Center. Two events converged as the Office of Health Promotion and Wellness, MSU Student Activities and the Dean of Students Office sponsored free food and fun while raising awareness about sexual assault prevention. Additionally, the Black Student Association, Residence Hall Association, Latino Student Association, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc.--Theta Iota Chapter, and National Pan-hellenic Council sponsored 'Jam on the Yard' with additional refreshments, music and dancing.
