Sophie Glenn, MSU visiting assistant professor of sculpture, welds in a Department of Art studio. She is adding a reinterpretation of a wooden table made out of metal to a whole set of furniture. The New York City native has studied furniture design and woodworking, as well as metal fabrication. She frequently employs nontraditional materials, such as steel, and incorporates sculptural forms, while also embracing more traditional furniture forms.
