Two mechanical engineering students, Ryden Smith, right, of Tuscaloosa, and Wesley Cameron of Richton, work to convert a truck toolbox into a UV sterilization device at Mississippi State’s Center for Advanced Vehicular Systems. The device will be used to sterilize masks for MSU's Longest Student Health Center Staff, filling a need during the COVID-19 pandemic and a national shortage of masks.
