The Mississippi Horse Park on the campus of Mississippi State continues to serve as a drive-through COVID-19 vaccine distribution site. The multipurpose event facility is being used by the Mississippi State Department of Health and Oktibbeha County Emergency Management to distribute COVID-19 vaccines as part of MSDH’s ongoing vaccination efforts across the state. In addition to making the facility available for use, MSU is providing police and emergency management personnel for logistical support. MSU Emergency Manager Brent Crocker said university leaders are working with local and state partners to set up an additional COVID-19 vaccine distribution site centrally located on campus to serve the college community.
