Lindsay Timmis, a junior educational psychology major from Nashville, Tennessee, talks with Terry Glenn, a sophomore ACCESS student from Tupelo, near Allen Hall. Timmis is among a group of college coaches--undergraduate students who work 15-20 hours each week, assisting ACCESS students with classroom and outside activities, as well as encouraging and helping them achieve goals and develop new skills. The ACCESS program focuses on academics, career development, independent living and socialization.
