Bulldog Conner Hujsak swings at a 94 mile-per-hour fastball in the bottom of the ninth inning Tuesday night in Hoover Met stadium, sending it solidly beyond the fence for a 2-1 walk-off win against Ole Miss in the SEC Tournament. Along with Hujsak’s heroics, the win wasn’t without other Bulldogs doing their part, as David Mershon drew a walk to lead off the inning, moved to second on a passed ball, and advanced to third on Hunter Hines’ ground out to first base. Pitcher Brooks Auger worked eight innings and held the Rebels to three hits while striking out 13 batters without issuing a walk.
