'Thyestes'

Hays Romano, a junior studying political science, pleads to the sky to change his fate in the titular role for Shackouls Honors College's production of Thyestes. The Roman tragedy by Roman playwright Seneca the Younger will run Sept. 24 and 25 as part of the university’s annual observation of Classical Week, a celebration of Greek, Roman and other cultures of the ancient world. Free and open to the public, doors open at 5:40 p.m. each night for the 6 p.m. performances at Lee Hall’s Bettersworth Auditorium.
