Mississippi State mascots Bully and Belle dance in front of a Christmas tree outside Colvard Student Union at the Hail State Holidays Kickoff held in November. The annual event featured carols sung by the Black Voices Gospel Choir, well-wishes from MSU dignitaries and seasonal treats including hot cocoa and cookies for attendees. Tuesday [Dec. 2] is the last regularly scheduled day of class for the fall semester, and commencement ceremonies begin Dec. 11 in Meridian.
