Loyal fans in maroon and white line up outside the gates of Dudy Noble Field Friday [May 29] as postseason baseball returns to Starkville. Mississippi State hosts one of the NCAA Division I Baseball Tournament’s 16 regional sites this weekend, bringing together the Diamond Dawgs, University of Cincinnati, University of Louisiana at Lafayette and Lipscomb University for the four-team, double-elimination Starkville Regional. With a trip to the NCAA Super Regionals on the line, the road to Omaha begins at The Dude.
