Mississippi State's Ballew Hall is being recognized with a 2026 America 250 Heritage Award from the Mississippi Heritage Trust. The honor recognizes the extensive renovation of the university’s 1962 meat science laboratory into a modern administrative, meeting and classroom space that pays homage to its history while serving the contemporary needs of MSU’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
