Dorman Under Development
Historic Dorman Hall, which opened at Mississippi State in 1967, is currently undergoing renovations such as major heating and air upgrades, as well as updates to teaching and research facilities. Along with these interior improvements, the 144,000-square-foot facility is receiving some exterior design enhancements as well. The longtime home to the Department of Plant and Soil Sciences, Dorman was—at the time of its construction—the largest research complex on campus with 75% of the building devoted to scientific discovery.
