Newest Nurses
Mississippi State’s School of Nursing celebrated commencement this past week for the university’s second cohort in the Master of Science in Nursing program at the historic MSU Riley Center in downtown Meridian. Graduate Alden Tomlinson, right, of Corinth, rings an MSU cowbell as part of a new MSN graduation tradition while Eunique Ford of Mulberry, Florida, and other graduates look on with encouragement for the incoming cohort of 52 new students who observed from an upper balcony. The MSN is a rigorous 12-month, direct-entry degree program that was granted national accreditation last year following review by the Collegiate Nursing Education board of commissioners.
