Peter Nordin, a Starkville Oktibbeha Consolidated School District student at Partnership Middle School, competes in the 100-yard breaststroke race during a swim meet hosted by Starkville High School last weekend at Mississippi State’s Joe Frank Sanderson Center. More than 120 middle and high school swim team athletes from across the Magnolia State traveled to campus for the event in MSU’s state-of-the-art recreational center, where students and guests enjoy aquatics, fitness, intramural and club sports, and youth summer camps, among other activities. Many events held at the university bring students from across Mississippi to campus, reflecting MSU's ongoing effort to share its resources with communities statewide.
