MSU’s Starkville campus to host glass recycling event Nov. 28

STARKVILLE, Miss.—In partnership with Keep Starkville Beautiful, Mississippi State University’s Office of Sustainability is hosting its first glass recycling event on Nov. 28.

From 2-6 p.m., Door 2 Door Recycling of Jackson will be collecting clean, lid-free glass items at the parking lot near the tennis courts at the MSU RecPlex on Hail State Boulevard south of Blackjack Road.

Glass will be sorted by color and loaded onto a truck by volunteers before being transported to Jackson for recycling. All materials will be provided, and volunteers will receive prizes for their participation.
