Mississippi Academy of Sciences to convene this week in Hattiesburg

Several Mississippi State faculty and students will present their research at the 83rd Annual Meeting of the Mississippi Academy of Sciences on Feb. 21-22 at the Thad Cochran Center at the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. Participants will give oral and poster presentations at the meeting, which attracts hundreds of attendees representing all of the state’s institutions of higher learning. Several MSU faculty hold leadership roles in the academy, including president-elect LaShan Simpson, MSU assistant professor of agricultural and biological engineering.
