Chief Human Resources Officer candidates announced for July open forums

Mississippi State University and the Search Committee for Chief Human Resources Officer invite interested members of the campus community to attend public presentations by each finalist.

Candidate One: Dr. Deidra Shows, Tuesday, July 9, 10-11 a.m., Colvard Student Union, Fowlkes Auditorium

Deidra “DeDe” Shows has served since 2000 as associate vice president of human resources and payroll services at William Carey University in Hattiesburg. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business, master’s in educational administration, specialist degree in higher education administration and doctorate in higher education leadership, all from William Carey.

Candidate Two: Nancy L. Siegert, Wednesday, July 10, 10-11 a.m., Colvard Student Union, Fowlkes Auditorium

Nancy L. Siegert has served since 2016 as human resources manager at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s in human resource development from Towson University.

Candidate Three: Leslie M. Corey, Thursday, July 18, 10-11 a.m., Colvard Student Union, Fowlkes Auditorium

Leslie M. Corey has served since 2006 as senior human resources generalist for Human Resources Management at Mississippi State. She holds an MSU bachelor’s degree in home economics with a minor in business and a Master of Public Policy and Administration.
