  • Blackjack-westbound traffic from the Roundabout will turn south onto Hail State. If you turn around on Hail State, you will be turned east on Blackjack.
  • Mayhew Rd-no traffic will be allowed east of Bardwell.  Will be 100% closed from Bardwell to 182.

All traffic-controlled intersection maps can be found at https://hailstate.com/news/2019/10/9/2019-football-postgame-traffic.aspx

Turn off your GPS until you are well out of town or on a main road like Highway 82 or Highway 25.  GPS will direct you to the shortest distance, which will likely take you much longer and cause you much stress.

Have a plan and know your route following the traffic plan and intersection maps.

If you are turned onto Hail State, this is the fastest way to Highways 25, 45, and 82.  You can also get back into Starkville at Montgomery Rd. or Old 25. This route moves you much faster while you will move along much slower on Blackjack and Highway 12.

No traffic will be allowed east on Blackjack from Locksley Way to the Roundabout.  Residents living past campus will need to access Blackjack from Poor House/Oktoc Road or Hickory Grove Road from Highway 82.

Follow @msstatepd and @HailStateFamily on Twitter for parking and traffic information before and after the game.

You will not be allowed on campus until traffic control has ended.  This includes picking up tailgate equipment, if you live on campus, or think you need to go down Blackjack to get home.  Just park and wait.  Driving or circling around just adds to the traffic congestion and delays in reopening roads.  The Twitter feeds listed above will notify you when traffic is returning to normal flows.  This is when you can enter campus, usually about an hour or two at the most.
