Vice President for Research & Economic Development Candidate One announced

Mississippi State University and the Search Committee for the Vice President for Research & Economic Development invite interested members of the campus community to attend public presentations by each finalist.            

Candidate One: Dr. Julie Jordan, Thursday, November 12 at 2:30 p.m.

Dr. Julie Jordan currently serves as Interim Vice President for Research & Economic Development at Mississippi State University and has served in this role since July 2019. She previously served MSU as the Associate Vice President for International Programs and Executive Director International Institute from 2017 to 2019 and as the Director of the Research and Curriculum Unit (RCU) from 2010 to 2017. She additionally was Project Manager for the Mississippi State Community Action Team from 2007 to 2010.      

Dr. Jordan has held numerous additional professional roles in the public and private sector. Her doctoral work was completed at the University of Southern Mississippi in International Development. Her undergraduate and graduate degrees were earned at Mississippi State.
