Mississippi State's Department of Health Promotion and Wellness is hosting a Jan. 19 film showing of the documentary "Laboring with Hope" by Dr. Nakeitra Burse.
The 3-4:30 p.m. program in Lee Hall is free to all. MSU's COVID protocols will be enforced during the program. All attendees are required to wear a face mask.
After the film, MSU students and faculty will participate in a panel discussion on maternal health and infant mortality in Mississippi.
The event's planning committee also will collect blankets and baby wipes for Mothering Rooms on campus.
