The power of university and industry partnerships can produce groundbreaking research and innovation that solve complex problems, drive economic growth, and create a more skilled workforce. However, industry and university collaborations can be large, complex and difficult to organize.
Mississippi State's Office of Research and Economic Development is hosting a Feb. 22 virtual seminar that will teach participants about the benefits of university-industry partnerships and steps for establishing a beneficial relationship between faculty/researchers and industry representatives.
Jim Martin, MSU's associate vice president for corporate engagement and economic development, will lead the 2:30-4 p.m. session.
Responsible Conduct of Research credit will be given for attendance.
Registered participants will receive via email a Webex link to join the seminar.
