The event promotes physical and mental health by encouraging members of the campus and local community to enjoy a one-mile walk around the research park during their lunch break. Vendors with beneficial health information and delicious food will be set up throughout the research park loop.

A canned goods drive benefitting Starkville food banks also is part of this year's event. Those who donate two canned goods will receive one ticket entry for a raffle of items from local businesses. Tickets will be placed toward the entrant's item of choice - more cans means more chances to win!

Donations can be made Tuesday [April 27] and Wednesday [April 28] from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Office of Technology Management, 100 Research Blvd., Suite 120x in the Thad Cochran Research, Technology and Economic Development Park.

In addition to OTM, event organizers include Camgian Microsystems, II-VI, MSU's Research and Technology Corporation, and Power of the Almond.
