Traffic flow and parking plans for Thursday-Monday [Aug. 12-16] have been modified to maximize safety as students return to the Starkville campus and move into residence halls.
Faculty, staff, students, parents and visitors should click here and view the map to determine how their campus routes may be impacted. Those navigating campus are encouraged to exercise caution and patience and plan accordingly.

Road closures:
1. Bailey Howell Drive from George Perry Street to Barr Avenue
2. Hurst Lane

4. George Perry Street from Bailey Howell Drive to Barr Avenue
5. Walker Road
6. Magruder Street
7. Morgan Street
8. Famous Maroon Band Drive from Hardy Road to Magruder Street
Parking lot closures:
1. Staff at McComas Hall (call 662-325-0017 or email troberson@parkingtransit.msstate.edu for accommodations)
2. Staff at Nusz Hall, Montgomery Center for America's Veterans (park in Sanderson Center lot)
3. Staff at Ruby and Griffis halls (park in Critz or Griffis lots)
4. All residential lots
Additional notes:
1. Allen East and Hand Lab gated lots should be accessed from Hardy Road.
2. Staff working in faculty houses on Morgan and Magruder streets can use their MSU staff I.D. to enter through the checkpoint at the intersection of Famous Maroon Band Drive and Stone Boulevard.
