STARKVILLE, Miss.—Registration gets underway Nov. 8 for Mississippi State’s Winter Express, an accelerated semester that allows students to earn up to six hours of course credits in only five weeks.

Included in the condensed winter session is an updated selection of more than 200 online courses that begin Dec. 14 and conclude Jan. 14.

“Last year, Mississippi State experienced impressive enrollment for its winter session, and we plan to build on that momentum this year,” said MSU President Mark E. Keenum. “MSU’s Winter Express considers the needs of all students by offering a wide variety of courses and flexibility that make a high-quality college education more accessible and convenient.”

MSU’s Winter Express is a perfect option with a flexible online format in which students can benefit from exceptional instruction, student-centered curricula, interactive learning and collaborative study activities.

By enrolling in Winter Express, students can get a head start on the spring 2022 semester, finish core course requirements, take classes within majors or pick up extra credits to accelerate graduation. They also can explore new subject areas, concentrate on difficult courses and benefit from smaller classes taught by MSU’s world-class faculty.

“Mississippi State continues to look for ways to better serve students and provide an enriching and rewarding educational experience,” Keenum said. “Winter Express is an important part of our offerings that will move students another step closer to realizing their life and career dreams.”
