MSU faculty, staff and students are invited to participate in an upcoming candidate presentation for the position of dean of the Judy and Bobby Shackouls Honors College.
Dr. Tommy Anderson, a candidate for the position, will give a presentation on Monday, Oct. 24, at 9:30 a.m. in Fowlkes Auditorium.

Anderson, a professor of English, currently serves as interim dean of the honors college and previously served as interim dean of MSU Libraries. Additionally, he is the associate dean of academic affairs for MSU’s College of Arts and Sciences and previously served as interim assistant dean of undergraduate affairs for the college. He joined MSU’s faculty in 2005 after teaching at Southern New Hampshire University.
Anderson earned Ph.D., master’s and bachelor’s degrees from Vanderbilt University, as well as an additional master’s degree from Pennsylvania State University.
