Temporary closure of Welcome Center-area infrastructure begins May 19

Renovation of the Mississippi State University Welcome Center at the Cullis Wade Depot on B.S. Hood Drive begins May 19, temporarily closing sidewalks and parking inside the designated construction zone. 

The north entrance to the Welcome Center will be closed during construction. Visitors can access the building through the south entrance or via the Barnes & Noble Bookstore.

Pedestrian detours, including a temporary sidewalk, are in place around the building. 

The renovation is scheduled to be completed in early August.
