Howell Hall renovation temporarily closes area infrastructure beginning Aug. 4

The renovation of Howell Hall, located on the northwest corner of campus near the intersection of College View Street and Bailey Howell Drive, is scheduled to begin Aug. 4 and continue through the end of 2026.

During construction, adjacent sidewalks and parking areas will be temporarily closed, including the parking lot between Howell and Giles halls.

A section of B.S. Hood Drive also will be closed. Pedestrian detours will be in place around the construction zone. 

Use caution while traveling in the area.
