STARKVILLE, Miss.—Mississippi State Online is recognizing the success of its students and the continued growth of its distance education programs during National Distance Learning Week, Nov. 3–7.

National Distance Learning Week

“Even from miles away, our online students are fully a part of the Mississippi State community,” said Tracy Craven, associate director of MS State Online. “National Distance Learning Week celebrates that connection and reminds every Bulldog that they are right where they belong.”

Throughout the week, MSU Online will host interactive Webex sessions, faculty and staff trainings, student-centered events and daily social media contests to highlight the impact and innovation of online learning at MSU.

Mississippi State’s online enrollment has seen steady growth of 5% annually over the past three years, now serving more than 3,200 students in more than 160 fully online degree and certificate programs. The university continues to expand opportunities for learners across Mississippi and beyond through high-quality, accessible education. Mississippi State’s online learners span all 50 states, two U.S. territories and 30 countries around the world.
