MSU Honor Band Clinic canceled this weekend, Famous Maroon Band auditions can be rescheduled if travel unsafe

Mississippi State University’s Department of Music has canceled the Honor Band Clinic scheduled this weekend, Jan. 29-31, out of an abundance of caution regarding the weather challenges many are currently facing.

High school seniors who scheduled their audition for the Famous Maroon Band are welcome to do so this Friday [Jan. 30] if travel to campus is deemed safe. Others can reschedule at a later time and will be sent additional information. 

Thursday night’s [Jan. 29] concert by the Germantown High School Wind Ensemble and Friday’s MSU Wind Ensemble concert are canceled. 

Refunds will be issued to all registered students.  Please allow up to two weeks for this reimbursement. For more information, call 662-325-2713.
