Registration open for Summer Scholars On Stage camp

Registration is now open for Mississippi State’s 2026 Summer Scholars On Stage, a residential musical theater camp for middle and high school students interested in writing, performance and technical theater. The three-week camp, celebrating its 44th year, is set for June 7–27.

Summer Scholars On Stage offers seventh graders to high school seniors an immersive experience for collaboration to create and produce an original, three-act musical from the ground up. Students choose one of three specialized tracks—writing, performance or technical theater—and work alongside educators and theater professionals during the program.

Supported entirely through tuition, grants and donations, there is limited financial assistance available for qualifying students. Families and students can learn more and begin the application process at www.summerscholarsonstage.msstate.edu.
