MSU celebrates campus improvements with August ribbon cuttings

STARKVILLE, Miss.—Mississippi State leaders cut the ribbon three times Tuesday [Aug. 11] to celebrate a variety of university improvements, from an updated McArthur Café to the newly opened traffic circle to a mechanical plant designed to support campus growth.
MSU Dining unveils a newly renovated McArthur Café for the start of the fall 2026 semester. This larger space in McArthur Hall now offers more seating, with an expanded kitchen and office space for staff. Pictured, from left, are MSU Dining Chef Greg D. Marking the opening of the traffic circle at the Stone Boulevard and Bost Drive intersection, from left, are MSU Director for Planning, Design and Construction Administration Ches Fedric; Associate Vice President for Administration Jeremiah Dumas; Student Association President Keegan Figueroa; MSU President Mark E.
