Trailblazing NYSE trader to speak Thursday as part of Seal Distinguished Speaker Series

Lauren Simmons, the youngest female and second-ever African American woman to work as a trader at the New York Stock Exchange, will give a presentation to the Mississippi State community Thursday [March 18] as part of the Leo W. Seal Jr. Distinguished Speaker Series.

The event will be held in the Colvard Student Union’s Foster Ballroom at 7 p.m. Simmons’ speech will be open to the public, but attendance will be limited. Students are asked to RSVP on Cowbell Connect.

Thursday’s speech is sponsored by the MSU Student Association, the College of Business and the college’s Diversity Dawgs, Department of Finance and Economics and College of Business Ambassadors.
