Lt. Col. Jason R. Posey, professor of military science for the Army ROTC program, said the event is open to high school and college students and will offer participants an opportunity to experience the Army ROTC program at MSU.

“The ROTC is a way to earn a scholarship, a degree and be part of a program that will develop leadership,” Posey said. “Hopefully, interested participants will leave with a vision of a path for success at MSU and in the Army.”

The day will begin with a tour of Middleton Hall, which houses MSU’s ROTC program, followed by a tour of the university. Attendees will learn about military equipment, talk with military personnel, enjoy gaming tents and take a tour of MSU’s football stadium. Lunch is provided.
