To provide a better user experience, Mississippi State Information Technology Services worked on improving the IT procurement review process by utilizing the TeamDynamix (TDX) ticketing system instead of the TDX project management system. A new "Pre-Procurement IT Review" option is located under the Technology Project & Procurement Request Service in the ITS Service Desk Services catalog.
After submitting a procurement request for IT review, users can continue to attach documents, view the status of their requests and communicate with ITS via the TDX client system. Requests."
All IT related purchases more than $5,000 including IT equipment, services, software, licenses, maintenance and renewals, using a procurement-card, purchase order or contract, will require prior approval from ITS. Once you receive ITS approval, you must submit the TDX approval email and all other supporting procurement documentation to Procurement and Contracts for processing.
