2025 Starkville Christmas Parade road closures, route change announced

The 2025 Starkville Christmas Parade, presented by Reed’s, will affect traffic Monday, Dec. 1. To allow for parade staging, city roads will be closed beginning at 4 p.m. from the intersection of Russell Street and Fellowship Street through the intersection of Russell Street and Lampkin Street.

To accommodate the ongoing Main Street Revitalization project, this year’s parade route will begin at the intersection of Russell and Lampkin streets, then proceed up South Montgomery Street to University Drive, following that road before turning south onto Jackson Street.

The parade begins at 6 p.m. Make plans to join in the fun at any point along the route to enjoy more than 90 parade entries including MSU’s Famous Maroon Band.
