McArthur Café, located in Mississippi State University’s McArthur Hall, is closing for a major renovation beginning Monday [Nov. 24].
The project is scheduled for completion in August, in time for the start of the fall semester.
During the closure, students can use Block Meals and Dawg Dollars at Perry Food Hall, Azalea Dining and Fresh Food Company.
Perry Food Hall’s new concept features three dining venues: Bark, a smokehouse serving smoked and grilled meats; The Beet Drop, offering fully customizable salad options; and 1921 Café, a traditional Southern station known for comfort staples such as Fried Chicken Wednesday and Catfish Friday. The facility also includes Starbucks, Moe’s Southwest Grill and MSU staple State Fountain Bakery.
Azalea Dining, located in Azalea Hall, offers Mediterranean dishes at Mezza, made-to-order brick oven pizza at State Slice and evening and late-night pickup through the Grubhub app via The Lock Box ghost kitchen.
Fresh Food Company provides an all-you-care-to-eat dining experience, including a True Balance station designed for guests with food allergies.
Additional dining locations that accept Meal Equivalency and Dawg Dollars include Subway, Bento Sushi, Einstein Bros. Bagels in Mitchell Memorial Library and Colvard Student Union’s food court, home to Chick-fil-A, Pizza Hut, Newk’s and Panda Express.
