In his new role, he will work with present and potential donors to help shape their ideas and interests into tangible results to better the university and state. His background as an agricultural lender, paired with his recent graduation from MSU in 2023, gives him broad understanding of donors and the foundation’s mission.

“Noah understands the language of agriculture and the people who make it possible,” said Jimmy Kight, MSU Foundation senior director of development for the College of Veterinary Medicine and division team lead. “His experience working directly with producers and ag-related businesses, combined with his passion for Mississippi State, positions him well to connect meaningfully with our major gift donors.”

Berry, whose personal commitment to MSU runs deep, said he feels tremendously blessed to have this opportunity. He earned his undergraduate degree in agribusiness management with a minor in business administration. During his time as a student, he served the football team for five seasons as a working leader, managing equipment.

“We don’t have fans, we have family,” Berry said.

The top-to-bottom connection associated with his enthusiasm and dedication is a defining factor for Berry as a driving force for development in Mississippi with agriculture as its largest industry. The university’s role as a land-grant institution positions it to affect the state’s economy tremendously, and Berry brings the related elements together to see this continue.

“I am proud to be able to play a role in expanding and benefiting the future of this area at MSU and beyond,” Berry said.
