The Inspiring New Design and Technology Robotics Camp takes place June 29-July 3 in MSU’s Industrial Education Building at 108 Herbert St. Participants will learn how to build a robot, as well as coding, design, documentation, 3D printing and more. The camp also includes industry tours with robots in action and culminates with a robotics showcase.

The Bulldogs in Industrial Technology and Entrepreneurship Camp and Girls Learning Industrial Technology, Teamwork, Entrepreneurship and Robotics Camp take place simultaneously July 13-17 in MSU’s IED Building. Through hands-on experiments and projects, guest speakers and an industrial plant tour, campers learn about industrial finishing, 3D printing, robotics and entrepreneurship.

Each camp’s registration is $250, plus a $60 nonrefundable application fee, and is available at www.tld.msstate.edu/undergraduate/indt/summer-camps. The registration deadline for each camp is June 12.

Industrial technology instructors Denise Adair and Lara Threet direct the camps while undergraduate industrial technology students serve as camp counselors.

It is always so much fun watching campers learn, design and build,” Threet said. “We get to introduce them to industrial technology and some of the career paths they can take with this degree. Campers get to do a little bit of it all3D printing, welding, virtual reality and more.”
